LAF or Drag Pipes, obnoxious or acceptable?

They suck, for the bike and for the people around the bike and for the neighborhood you live in. My Dyna had Python Drag pipes on it when I bought it, I put a bassani on it the change in performance is dramatic. Thunder header or Bassani.
The wife's 110 has V&H Big radius pipes on her cammed and tuned 110 it's stout and fast but it could be stouter. I tried to get her to switch to a 2 into 1 when we were fixing a few things after a little oopsie. We would have been able to get the bike re tuned with the surplus from the insurance, instead I got a lift table. She likes her bike being obnoxious loud. Her bike sounds sounds like a shotgun going off when she fires it up.

On my current bike, I'm running a set of Bassani Radial Sweepers. They look like they'd be as loud as those LAF pipes, but they aren't. They're a really nice balance of volume, tone and performance. Loud enough to let others in traffic know I am there... But not so loud my neighbors give me a dirty look at 7 in the AM.
