You know we've never had a "I'm a real man because I never trailer or haul my bike and you're not because you do" thread. The only thing something like this conveys is insecurity on the part of the OP. Ride there, trailer there, ship it there, it just doesn't matter to me what other people do. They ride a motorcycle and that's common ground with me.

I think we need to have a qualification system for "I'm a real rider and they aren't" threads. Say a few pics from: Key West, Arctic Circle/Prudoe Bay, every major rally in the US (including the Iron Butt and Hoka Hey), a 50 hours (or less) Coast to Coast ride and of course every National Park and Monument in the CONUS and Alaska. Here's the thing about people who have that kind of experience, they don't give a sh*t what someone else does.

Ride your bike and look at the road instead of your reflection in store windows.

You have too much time on your hands as evidenced by introducing negativity and misery into your life over something that shouldn't affect you at all.

Think about this. There are people like me that would love to be out riding, but instead our broken down bodies have us behind a keyboard instead.

Get out and ride man, and quit worrying about what other people are doing.

I'll trailer my bike across town if I want. If it bugs someone, that's their problem. Why someone would say they did ride when they trailered isnt something to get upset about. Just tell them to be careful driving the RV back, cause those cross winds can be a biotch, then walk on.

Exactly. I may get a little annoyed when following them on a two lane mountain road, but that applies to anyone who allows 15 vehicles to stack up behind them without pulling over.

As far as the wannabe bad-*** who trailered and then tells stories in the bar, I'll quote the other Elvis: "I used to be disgusted, but now I'm just amused."

It's like I say, never judge a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes. That way, when you judge a man, you're a mile away, and you have his shoes.

It's funny you said that. I had a patient that was doing very well after a hip implant. I told him to walk one mile a day to see how he does. He calls me up a week later telling me he's seven miles from home and WTF should he do now?
