I THINK we paid $150 for ours and looking at their website, it's now $125, so that's good.
Reaper's seat is a Corbin Gunfighter & Lady. It has a pretty decent passenger seat, but it's narrow, and fairly hard, so, after a few hours, I can understand why she's getting sore. Hopefully this Butty Buddy will do the trick.

Cheers!

My wife complained that her tailbone hit the fiberglass seat cowl on my '77 BMW, so I went to a rubber supply house and got a scrap of 1" thick closed cell neoprene, cut it to size with a cut-out for her tailbone, and bungeed it to the bike for long rides. She was happy with it. Those were simpler times.

I can hear it now...

"What are you trying to say? You saying I got a fat ***?"

Almost bet that's what I would hear from the other half should I show it to her.

Anybody had that problem?

Once I get past that initial psycho-babble, she would probably like it.

Might look at this instead of getting a pillion for my bare fender on my Nightster.

I've had an Air Hawk for a few years. Don't really need it anymore (current bike seat is comfy), but
back when I had a bike with uncomfortable seats, it really helped.

The adjustable inflation is really nice -- you can custom-inflate it for just the right level of support and
comfort.

I have an Air Hawk too and its comfortable but I don't like the way it sits you up high on the seat.

Besides Butt Buddy, there's an outfit out of PA called Butt Buffer, and they have dealers so maybe you can find one, and sit on it before you buy it. Stock seats (especially the passenger's) are like sitting on a padded brick.

Comfort comes from width, shape and padding.

The butt buddy fits over a narrow pillion giving you width and some padding.
The airhawk gives you shape and padding, but need a seat the same width to support it.

We use a pillion airhawk 2 under a sheep skin. But our pillion is wide enough. Trick with airhawk is minimal air, just enough to keep your butt off the seat by a fraction of an inch

My wife never mentioned that I was saying, in a round about way, that she had a big butt. She was too happy that she was finally comfortable.

Is any wife starts complaining about that BEFORE they ride on it, take them for a ride and then see what they say.

My OL was complaining that the rear seat is too narrow, and hurts her tailbone and ***, so i don't think I'll have to worry about her being insulted!

Cheers!
