Contact Lenses and Riding Glasses

RE: Contact Lenses and Riding Glasses
Yeah, I think its the shape of my noggin that is doing it, more than the design of the glasses/goggles (yep, I've tried both). I was hesitant to drop over $100 on a pair of WileyX's but I guess I won't know until I try 'em!
PS - anyone got 100 bucks to loan me?[8D]

I've got goggles, riding sunglasses with prescription. 3/4 helmet , full face helmet. I ride better with GLASSES. I don't want nothing todistract my vision while RIDING!

Another vote for Panoptx here. I wear contacts. I alsohave very sensitive eyes. So, I'd probably have to wear 'em even if I had 20/20.

Perhaps it is the brand of contact lenses you are wearing. I never have any problem wearing contact lenses no matter what I am using.

RE: Contact Lenses and Riding Glasses
drying out isn't usually my problem with contacts, for some reason my eyes tear alot when i ride my sportie.
On my Ultra never have a problem, but i use Bobster Fatboy and Roadmaster glasses. Have had good results and they are photocromic, so they change automatically for day and night use. Under $40 bucks!

I had the problem of eyes watering so I bought a pair that have the foam gasket. They are great for my use. Some have removable gaskets others have fixed. I also use same type as safety glasses at work, but they can get pretty uncomfortable on extreme hot days. And I agree, the shape of your noggin makes a difference in the type of glasses to use.

I have the Panoptx and with contacts and no windshield I have no problems at all. However, I can't ride with regular sunglasseswith the windshield off.
