I love the look on the completed projects. I have an 04 RKC that I am stripping down now. I agree that they have an old Indian appearance which I kind of like. Any advice or direction from the guys who've done this would be appreciated.

Default side panels on this road king

[QUOTE=JekyllnHyde;16642263]Can you replace that cover with something more low profile. Like this?

[ how do you make these side panels on this bike or where do you get them?

I made something simular, I used an old aluminium road sign, I made a template out of cardboard, cut it out, polished her up, and threw on some decals, same with the fender bib, and the "fangs" aluminium is very easy to work with, cuts easy, files easy, and polishes up easy, short video shows all the bits and pieces.

Probably the nicest execution so far but it could use fenders, not FLH fenders but something and I know it has a rear but its too sublte. To me a bike with no front fender that isn't a chopper looks unfinished.

They look like a salvage bike that was rebuilt on a budget.
