That is the best looking effort I have seen so far, but I think it needs to be refined more. I think you should incorporate styling cues of the Evo FXR's side panels to get smoother visual flow, but you are definitely going in the right direction. The side panels need to be painted to match the tank and possibly have a medallion or some type of accent on them. I think the fender strut needs to be cleaned up a bit as well.
Another option might be to go with leather instead,
Or, you could just trade it in on a Heritage which accomplishes what you are trying to do.

The one thing that stuck out to me- and this is just my taste, mind- is the exhaust. Without the bags in place, it just seems to stick out for no reason. On the other hand, if you stuck some shorties and/or fishtail end caps on there...
All in all, though, it looks great- have fun out there showing her off!

I road it HD Dealership and got a lot of looks and compliments and some thought it was a Deluxe not a Road King Classic.
I think you've done the best job I've ever seen on that kind of project! You've really done great work!
But honestly, those side panels ruin it for me, they're just too large, and unblended. You obviously have more talent than I do, is there any way to shape them so they contribute or lead into the upward and rearward arc of the fender? I think I'd also color match them instead of black.

Any suggestions would be helpful
thanks for the heads-up everyone........
