That isn't going to end well.....

OP you do realize the swingarm moves quit a bit and the pipes are designed to be held rigid don't you ? Just asking ...........

The look is very cool and would not have thought the conversion could be accomplished on a Road King. You have work to do, mostly with the exhaust and to that end I would go with a 2 into 1 or a 2 into 2. V&H Big Radius maybe? Akrapovic? That said, awesome work and congratulations. Excellent job of thinking outside of the box.

Pipe hangers are not going to work. Check out how a Dyna or other models support pipes - needs to be to the frame, not the swingarm.

Need work on exhaust hanging and maybe completely different exhaust.

Good effort trying to clean things up.
Don't personally see why you'd want to but Harley is all above making it yours and they are all different for that reason.

Enjoy the ride...

Mufflers have to be attached to flex pipes(if you attached them to wheel axle), but they will not last long. Looks great w/o bags!!!
You can buy 2 in one exhaust. The only way to attach muffler bracket is to rear fender "horn"

I like the look so far. You will need to fab some exhaust brackets back to the frame. Also, I think a chain guard would a) look nice and b) be quite functional.

Almost there - keep going!

Yes almost got it as the others have said. You may have to fab up your own side panels that could be popped on when go bagless. They need to be narrowed/flat to frame and the same color as the bike, not the seat. Once that is figured out you will have a retro bike look that you are going for

I'm thinking a nicer chrome strut cover and chrome bolts for the shocks . And then if the side cover is fiberglass I would extend it just passed the top of the shock for a little custom look . But try it first with some carboard from cereal boxes and duct tape to see if you like the look .

The fender bolts are in the works but haven't figured out how to cover them yet so buttons or something may work.

I really don't think it will ever look great but some tweakin here and there will satisfy for this year.

Still a work in progress
I agree on paint matching the side covers. Have you considered a chrome swing arm?
