Wrist Fusion

Wrist Fusion
Hi I am an older rider....65yrs. 3 years ago I had a total right wrist fusion. Thus making riding a little more challenging. When I say total I mean NO MOVEMENT. Here is my dilemma. I don't care for the word CAN"T or NO....so I adapted a cramp buster by trimming it down and placing it on the left side of the throttle. That works pretty good, letting me activate the throttle by pushing down with my thumb. The problem is after an hour of riding my elbow and forearm start cramping and becoming extremely painful....which then means I cannot ride for a couple weeks while it tries to heal. This is unacceptable. I would like to figure out how to perfect this concept. An ATV throttle I was told by Harley wouldn't work. Any creative engineers out there?

I have had my right wrist fused for 15+ years and I haven't had a major problem with cramping just accelerating. I just kinda roll my hand off the throttle as I give it more and then when I decelerate I roll my hand back on, this works for me and I can ride with the best of them my age (63), better than some of a lesser age. The best of luck and determination means a lot.
