I mentioned/recommended the dealers that took me in unannounced and provided fab service, usually while I waited. A couple even washed my bike (which was truly covered with dirt and bugs) without my asking and no charge.

Once I needed a stator for my 97 and they didn't have one in stock ... so they took one out of one of their used bikes to get me on the road. That stator lasted another 11 years. I'm just lucky I guess.
