Hi where do I find the paint code for my bike...is it part of the VIN?

Be careful with that. I'm in the process of have 2 fenders painted and the first time the color was way off.
Had to get the paint from Harley-Davidson and that hurt. 3 pints of paint $208.99 my color is painted with 3 different paints to get it crimson sunglow red metallic. So for now I'm riding without the fenders.

 

Harley paint codes are a close kept secret. Just as McGee says, you have to buy from harley to make sure you get a perfect match
