I am woundering if any one has used them & how they liked the work...i have a seat i want to try & get it lowered & comfortable...also want the passenger seat bigger...what do you all have to say ,,can they handle the job?

Allen @ Mean City seems like a great guy.
He has my seat now. I will let you know by the end of the week. If it works sure as heck cheaper than any aftermarket stuff.

 

Lot of folks on the forum used them and they seem pretty happy with 'em.

 

Had Allendoboth my stock seat and reach seat, he did a great job and I have no complaints. Longest nonstop (except for fuel)ride wasa bit over 500 miles and it was pretty comfortable. Beats buying another seat. I reccommend them.

 

Allen did my 2000 Dyna 2 up stock seat. Replaced all the stock foam with thicker memory foam and reshaped the seat. Replaced the stock cover. You cant tell the difference until you sit on it. We just got back from a 2 week vac and put over 1400 miles on the seat 2 up the whole time. Wife still thanks MCC every time she gets off the bike. And Allens fix was waaaay less expensive than buying a new seat.

do they just recover with the stock cover, or if you reshape do they use a new cover? Or is it possible to use same cover after a reshape?

 

I reccommend them, Allen reshaped mine and used the same cover. He did a great job and will be sending another one too him in the future.
