Cee Bailey's Windshield on 2015 Road Glide Special
After riding 11 straight hours home from Orlando, last month, I decide to do two things:
1) Get hearing protection - the slipstream and exhaust wore terribly on me over 775 miles. I have since purchased Isolate Pro Earplugs from Flare:
https://www.flareaudio.com/products/...e-pro-titanium
These earplugs work amazingly well, they're light and they get rid of much of the wind noise and bring the D & D Boss Fat Cats down to a very tolerable level.
2) Lastly, I decided to get rid of the stock 8" POS Harley-Davidson windshield. I sit up straight on my RGS and while buffeting was never an issue with the shark nose faring, the wind noise and bugs were an issue. I went with the 15" Cee Bailey's windshield, which I can't wait to ride with later today. It is 30% thicker than stock and comes with the windshield attachment kit. I have attached some pictures.

I will let everyone know how it does. Have a great weekend, and keep the shiny side up!
UPDATE: I did get to ride the Glide about 15 miles yesterday, before the monsoon hit central Tennessee. The Cee Bailey's windshield does everything I was hoping it would do: way less wind noise, way less bugs on me and I can hear my stereo at 85 MPH without turning it all the way up. I will have to get used to having the higher windshield, but so far, I like it!

The first picture shows how many bugs were on my old windshield - if you could call it that. Amazingly enough, that little windshield did a pretty decent job of keeping the smaller bugs away. Now the big heavy critters would just hit you - and hit you hard.

Cee Bailey Shields
In 2015 in preparation for a trip to Alaska I bought a tall Cee Bailey shield for my Ultra Limited. It was made, optically clear, fit good and thicker plastic than the HD pieces I've had. Price was fair (actually, good compared to some) and shipping was prompt. Surprised they don't get more positive press in the forum.
