....when you constantly hear people out riding their Harleys. If I didn't have so many toys, I would retire, live like a hermit and ride every day. LOL

Anyone planning any cool weekend rides? As for me, I'm riding backroads up to Glasgow, KY tomorrow for some awesome BBQ. May swing by Makers Mark.

Nope. Not unless my left shoulder feels better. And being at home all day, I hear bikes go by some.

I hear ya. Although, this weekend, a co-worker and I are headed out for a few hour ride near the American river and we're heading down old HWY 49 for a little site seeing and just a bit of plain 'ol riding fun. The weather is supposed to be awesome this weekend!

Sounds like a great ride, where do you pick up "Old HWY 49" at? I ride the gold country quite a bit and and usually ride HWY 49, just don't know if it is the "old" one or not.

I'm kind of like COC, but with me its my knees. One is like an orange and feels Ok, the other one is the size of a grape fruit and hurts like a Mother Bear, to the point of not being able to back my beloved Harley out of the garage, and I wanted to ride my bike to church, the day after tomorrow.

I think that too, during the Winter months with all the poor bastards that are snowed in, while I do 500 mile weekends and it's 65 degrees...

I hear riding CA 49 is pretty amazing.

I can totally relate. I have had three knee surgeries over the past 20 years. No meniscus left in either knee. My orthopedic surgeon says I need to plan on getting them both replaced. I'm going to wait until I can't stand it any longer. I certainly don't feel like spending 3 months, or more, recovering.

You my friend are evil. But come to think of it, we've lived here for the past 4 years, after having lived in Portland, or for 7 years. They are forecasting only 5 days of rain in the next week in Portland. Hi 60s to lo 70s and clear here. I feel bad. Going for a ride,
