Default Wideglide fairing

New to the site so take it easy on me. I put a fairing on my 02 wide glide to have some tune and break the wind a little bit on the longer rides. Problem is it causes my bike to wobble bad after 68 mph. Any suggestions or idea are greatly appreciated.

Yeah, take it off, get some ear buds, and do some push ups to strengthen your upper body.

might post this in the Dyna specific forum.... could be a steering head or motor mount issue that got exaggerated by the fairing

Hmmm. A fairing shouldn't cause that. I put a batwing on my Superglide and it was steady as a rock. Maybe start checking stuff like bearings, fork alignment, spokes. Maybe your front wheel isn't true anymore.
Just some ideas.

Start at the front tire and work your way back, make sure every nut, bolt, and bearing is in good shape. If you got a shake at high speed, something is not as it should be.

Some bikes were not designed to have a windshield, never mind a fairing.

I think if you take a bike like a WG with the rake it has and narrow front tire then throw a 37" batwing on the front with the added weight of fairing, speakers and head unit stability at highway speeds will be an ongoing issue. This is just my opinion as I have never ridden with a fairing from this company but spent 20 years putting lots of miles on WGs across the country with no windshied or fairing and cant imagine it being stable at highway speeds with that strapped to the forks
