Just installed the front turn signal relocation kit on the Bike, the left side turn signal (flashing filament) works fine for all uses. The left side filament that is supposed to stay lit does not light. The right side works perfectly. There is an error that says something to the effect of: Left side turn signal output open. Can the problem be emanating from the wires under the switch housing that were shrink coated and pushed inside. I am quite sure that everything under the tank is correctly connected. Help!!!!!

The problem could from anywhere you messed with it. It is an open circuit. You need to find where it is open.

The switch housing could be one place to look, but is not the only place.

I just did my turn signal relocation and one of the turn signal sockets that came with the kit was misassembled.

The spring loaded flat disc with the 2 connection points was off by 90 degrees so when the light bulb was seated, it was not connecting to the prongs on the light bulb.

I was able to either push down or pull it up and rotate it 90 degrees...problem solved.
