First real ride of the year. Mid 50's but a three hundred mile day to see the ice on the lake one more time before December. Great day, great friends and a great ride.

That sounds like a plan!

Riding's the best medicine!

Looks like a great start to your riding season!

Got most of my work done yesterday.

Gonna finish my list this afternoon.

Going riding for a few hours first!

Went for a 4 hour putt...sure was nice!

Stopped about halfway and saw Devin at his home. He was washing his RZR sidebyside.

Went for a little ride in it. That thing is crazy!

Was good to get back on the bike and continue my afternoon wanderings on some Mississippi county roads.

It's never too late unless yer dead.

I was stationed in Germany for years; great riding there. The Alps are another world. I miss it.

Yeah, I might be overly cautious, but until/if they get things a bit more stable over there, I think I will not be headed that way.

Got a bit done on a project bike today...

Tacked up the mounting plate....

Wow!

Sunny, 60*, and no other vehicles on the ride in to work today!

Perfect way to start the day!

About a year and a half ago a Customer (Soren) from Denmark let us know he was going on a Group Harley Tour of part of the USA and would be passing thru our area.

Today is the day!

Meeting him and a bunch of riders from Europe this afternoon over in the Mississippi Delta.

We'll ride a bit together today, then tomorrow we'll be doing some more riding and a tour of the shop.

Friday the group rides on to Nashville and then on to the Smokeys, before riding down to Florida for the end of their trip.

After corresponding with him for over a year, really looking forward to meeting Soren in person, and showing him some riding around our country roads!

The weather turned cold, windy and a little rainy yesterday.

Met up with Soren and the riders from Denmark yesterday afternoon in Tunica, MS.

There are 24 bike total on their tour, they are split into two groups. Rode with Soren's group from Tunica up to downtown Memphis. Stopping for gas along the way.

After they got checked in at their motel, Soren and I rode down to our place in Mississippi, picked up Mary, and rode back up to Beale Street.

Having dinner and enjoying some Delta Blues in the Rum Boogie Cafe.

They are all on a Graceland Tour right now, later today we'll be meeting up for some country road riding and a walk thru the shop, then....???

Been a busy few days.

It was great to have Soren in town. We did some riding, spent time talking about differences between the USA and Denmark, talked bikes, and generally had a good time.

Soren and I had just gotten back from running around some back roads on the Sportys.

Soren headed out. Today is Nashville, then the Smokey Mountains, Charleston, NC, then on to Florida. From there, he and the crew head back to Denmark.

We really enjoyed the visit, and wish him and the entire group a safe and enjoyable trip visiting 5 more SE States.

Sometimes it is. Had a cop in the boonies in Vietnam let me ride his bike (65cc, two wheels anyway ) around some dirt roads and rice paddy dikes, not at all what you'd expect in a country like that.
