Yeah, my comment was tongue in cheek.

The last doctor I spoke to about motorcycles (a couple of months ago) actually let me know that in his office they call them "donorcycles".

Can't disagree with you in regards to many of them.

Yeah.

Well, I am cutting out early today. It is Mary's bday, and it is already raining, so I'll be getting wet, but I want to beat the lighting that is on the way thru!

Just looked up the road that you want to ride most.

It looks like a fun road...28 hours of riding from where we are...but not sure we'll ever do it.

And this is the reason I slow down at blind hilltops.

This morning on the way in, I topped a hill and in the middle of the road was an old hound dog, Laying down, smack dab in the middle of my lane.

I had already slowed from 65 mph to 45 mph and was covering my brakes, so I was able to slow down enough to give him time to meander off the road.

But if I had been going 65 mph when I topped the hill, pretty sure I would have hit him.

Haven't had my new Street Glide Special a week yet. put just under 400 miles on it Saturday and maybe another 200 on it Sunday. On Sunday, rode up to Afton, IL and Grafton, IL along the Mississipi river. I also put a new replacement heat shield on my Wide Glide and even started it up, but it didn't get ridden. The SGS is new and getting all the love.
