Financed about 80% of the bike cost, but paid cash for the extras as i got them.

After my daughter's wedding is done, I'm making a bike fund. By the end of this month, I'll have started making a pretty good dent. I want to rake my scoot within the year.

(disposable income). I think 10k-20k in bling is BS by the way, I don't think it's possible to spend that on a bike and still have the same bike. Couple of hundred here, couple there soon gives you bling money, and if you do it yourself you can save a bundle.

HD visa earns chrome points, wait for dealers to run 20% off sales.
I pick up at least 25.00 a month in chrome points! ING account earns interest $$$!

That's why I'm keeping all my stock parts. When I'm ready to trade, I'll put the bike back to stock & eBay all the custom parts.[sm=smiley20.gif]

As a few have mentioned here, I got a lot of stuff done to my bike before it left the stealer and had it financed in. even had harley riding boots and helmets thrown in to the whole financing plan along with forward controls, lots of chrome, 2 up seat and sissy bar and back rest. I thought I was set. and I was...for about a week...it never seems to end but hey, it's only money and you can't take it with you. I give my tithes at church, buy the groceries and other necessary stuff and when I can I buy some cool new shiny thing for my bike. Hey wer'e talking about Harleys here. hang on to the bike long enough and if you decide to sell it you're gonna come out fine.
