RE: How do y'all pay for all those extras?
Chuck,
Most in this threadhave already said it one way or the other. Take care of the long term goals first, then work on bling a little at a time by whatever means you can come up with, extra hours , family , friends , street corner odd jobs . Once you and your familiesfuture is secure put all your extra into those things that mean the most to you. If you really want something you will find a way. For some of us our rideis our pride and joy, spelled RKC, for me. Be patient and best of luck.

After spending some time here and planning to purchase a BT model (and seeing the cost of everything) I was wondering how you all afford to pay $20k for a bike and then put $10-20k extra into it in a fairly short period of time? And what do you do with all the "bling" when its time for a new bike? My wife and I make a good living but I guess we have other priorities first. We pay the bills and for the toys and have cash left over but got have some savings and investments so we can retire someday. Plus I dont believe in running up the credit cards. Just wondering what the "secret" is?
