Default Homemade sportster exhaust

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to show off my new straight through exhausts that i fabricated.

Done it over the course of a few cold nights in the garage and really happy with the result.
1.75" Stainless system, fully purged tig welded.

Was thinking of slashing them but not sure. What do you guys think?? I know the rear pipe needs a little adjustment but was my first dry fit

Awesome skill.

As for slashing....maybe as it would show even greater skill and add a little style.
Yet as is, is a classic design.

Then, perhaps grinding down the welds and polishing that surface smooth?

None the less - awesome.

Nice, but won't it wake up the neighborhood?

They look good and will probably look better when you adjust the rear one but...........that's a lot of weight on the front one. Have you figured out a way to support it further on down the line from the exhaust port yet?

Thanks for the feedback. Think im going to leave the welds on as i quite like the industrial look of them.

Thanks.
Yeah, thought about that and going to weld on a small plate at the rear of the pipe and attach it to the original mounting point. Don't think ill need one for the rear though as there's not much weight in it

Very nice! If you decide to slash, maybe consider shortening the front pipe a bit to offset

Like the idea, thanks. I'll get onto it again in 2 weeks time when back from working offshore and post some more pics.

Default Vibration will break at head seen before.

Mine are short still have a support for both pipes at bottom a small bracket on rear of both tied to frame will preserve the cool work you have do on nice. Like Short and Loud
