Looking for any vendors who might sell just the side plates that slip on/lock into the 4 point mounting system on my 2014 Street Glide. Long story short, I'm looking at an aftermarket sissy bar, but it doesn't come with mounting plates...having a hard time finding plates that aren't the quick release (stock) type.

 

So, the bike has QD docking points, and you want to mount NON-QD side plates to the QD points to mount a NON-QD sissy bar?

 

Forgive my ignorance, I'm not certain what QD mounts are...I've got the quick release 4 point mounts. I'm looking for basically "blank" stock quick release side mounts, that I can weld an aftermarket sissy bar to.

 

QD = Quick Detachable.

Not sure what you are looking for exists for sale as an over the counter product.

But there are PLENTY of sissy bars that properly attach to the factory docking hardware.

 

Solid copy...just haven't found a sissy bar I'm willing to settle on, that are readily QD. It's typical of "me" though...nothing's gonna come simple. I do appreciate your time and input.

 

Buy a cheap eBay sissy bar and cut the brackets off.
