Went out to ride a couple years ago and had a flat rear (tubed tire). Found a nail or screw (don't remember) in it, Pulled it out, pumped it up, spun it around a couple of times and waited. Couple hours later, it hadn't lost an ounce so I rode over to my indie to get it fixed. After the ride it was still holding air just fine. I was wondering if it was worth it on a tubed tire, but it certainly saved the day for me. Realize, if the tube is ripped it probably won't work. At any rate I won't ride without it!

is this the same green slime stuff my ricer buddy is always trying to talk me into trying or are there other, similar and effective seal/balance fluids on the market?
I ask because a google search for ride on showed a yellowish goo bottle. not sure if it's changed, if this is a similar product or if anyone has used both and prefers one over the other.

I wouldn't put the green slime in my bike tires although I've used it in my off-road ATV tires.
