Default Blue Bonnets and Bugs.

With the mild winter and abundant rain here in Central Texas. The Texas State flower. The Bluebonnet is already in bloom. So are the bugs. About a month early. Went on a late afternoon into a late evening ride. Wind screen was so full of bugs it was hard to see. Texas weather. Ya gotta love it.

Bluebonnets are all over the place around Ennis, much like all over Texas. And bugs are our gift from the mild winter. Thank You!

I went up I-45 today and didn't see any Bluebonnets. Maybe they're not out here yet.

Willow City Loop. Is the bell weather of the Texas Bluebonnet.
This year? A throw of the dice. Already on the road sides in the God Forsaken road sides here in Going To Hell Waco Texas.http://www.jasonrweingart.com/blog/2...best-locations

Willow City loop was a bust last year. I rode it several times. There were a few wildflowers but not like it was a few years ago. There were many more wildflowers of all types on FM 1321 just north of johnson City. I rode the Willow City loop 2 weeks ago and the bluebonnets hadn't popped yet. There were quite a few up around Marble Falls though.

They`re just starting to come out here in Oklahoma, and I get an occasional bug on my windshield on our warm days......
