Look at it this way:
You're staying straight up, the rest of the world is suddenly tilting 90 degrees.

Feel better?

What Dinger said about the left foot is true, works for me anyways.

Make sure you do not stop on a grove or rut in the road. If your tire stops on the side of a rut the bike will pull to that side. Very hard to keep it up unless you see the rut first. Watch for bad spots in the road. Use only back brake for the last few feet. Keep hbars straight the last few feet. Put one foot down at a time. Then, maybe, the big bastard will behave for you.

ORIGINAL: Tuco

I have dropped the ultra a few times. I put tru-track on and the handling characteristics at stopping speed where increased 10 fold. Havent dropped it since. The bike is sloppy and doesnt react the way it should from the MoCo.
Sloppy?! I've ridden many bikes and while I don't ride the Ulta, I don't feel the FLHTC is any different ... I honestly feel mine handles better at slow speed maneuvers than anything I've ridden. Maybe it's technique?

Always to the left? It's not you. You've got a Democratic motorcycle.

Big White, get ahold of the Ride Lika A Pro video; it will help you tremedously. I've been riding 42 years this summer. After I watched it (LAST YEAR!) I felt much more confident about low speed stuff.

If it's leaning to the left why not modify a side car and stick it on the left? Or how bout always riding with your kick stand down? That way it will catch before the bike falls. Just don't take any left hand turns.

Do not use your front brake at extreme slow speeds. Unless your bike is perfectly straight, it will fall down if you lock up the front wheel and your bars are turned.
