My Brother got me started on the Chips...Now when I go off somewhere, and go to a HD store I buy 2 chips... 1 for me and 1 for him...he does the same unless we are riding together.
Thanks for the Idea Dr. Tiki...I know what I'll do for his B-day in a couple of months, with a nice barnwood frame around it. Any certain type of magnets to get???

 

I stopped in at the Laconia NH dealership today, and I also like collecting the chips but at $3.95 a chip I just could not do it. Talk about taking advantage!!

 

I think the most I ever paid was $5.99 in Smithers, northern British Columbia about 3 years ago. I have found many dealers charge $1.99 but of course it varies.

I myself would get some tempered glass cut (3 pieces) to cover before lacker. That way if I ever get tired of the bar or move I can take my chips with me.

 

I started collecting them 6 years ago after a really bad accident, have a handful since but buy them every dealer I go to now, so far just keep them in a big beer mug

 

I travel somewhat frequently for work and try to hit up the dealers while I'm there. Knoxville TN week after next.
