Default Handlebar mount

I have an 09 Road King with 18 inch hangers. I need a phone mount that won't drop my Samsung s7 edge. I like the ones with chargers integrated for obvious reasons but hope I can get some recommendations.

I just installed a Ram mount today for my Samsung note 5 in a case.

Rode 120 miles on rough roads and at speeds up to 80 mph on interstate and WOW this thing is awesome!

Have a friend with it for a year now so I had full confidence before I bought. Frankly with the apps on my phone for GPS and music I will be using the Infotainment system only as Bluetooth for my phone apps. Way easier and more accurate!

See the pictures for what you need:

For what it is worth I use Spotify as my music app and have recently started using "Android Auto" for navigation on the bike and in the car.

Both are extremely easy to us. When I click on the Android Auto app I simply click on the mic icon and speak. It has never once misunderstand where I am asking tò go. It populates and on the same screen the music app displays and I hit the arrow to start the music playing.

Wish I had done this much sooner.

Good luck

I've been happy with this one:
RAM Smartphone Mount
Finger Gripping Assemblies
Part # RAM-HOL-UN4U

The x mount is OK. I use these guys coupled with the RAM. I've used this setup for 20k plus miles and it's never failed me. They make mounts specific for your phone and popular cases. More secure than the x grip in my opinion.

Tech Gripper.

Love the ram system but the tech grip is a better phone holder. I have the Xgrip on my bike, use the tether trust me. I rode a friends bike for weekend trip with the tech grip it's a better system for just holding your phone.
