I like it a heck of a lot, because that is "kinda sorta" what i built out of my 07 RKC.
The Road King S has been here before except Harley called it a Custom instead of a Special.

I saw one at a dealer today... gotta say it looks sharp but it's not for me.

One thing I do kinda wonder about is the worth. I know a lot of folks add up the price of the blacked out parts and use that as a comparison but I've always thought that was a little bit of false economy when you're talking about a bike built with those parts.

I mean, it's not like the MoCo put on all the regular parts and then replaced them with the blacked versions. That's basically what I'd be left with if I did the aftermarket replacements to get the same look, plus I'd have the passing lamps and the windshield left over too.

No, the MoCo just used blacked out parts to begin with, and left a couple of things off. If you like the stretched bags and you wanted the blacked out, lowered "street king" kinda look then this is an awesome looking bike and maybe worth the extra dough.

You'd better show some Dyna love if you ever want me back in a dealership again. Less touring bloat, more performance. As of now, it's nothing but old iron for me, but, I do hope you guys surprise me.

Oh, and a ***** out no holds barred Wide Glide edition would be very nice

Ill say this. When the new 2018 models are released make sure you get in line early at the demo rides because last year there were long lines to test ride the touring bikes with the M8 !

Oh, I'll be there. I love to test ride new bikes, I hit all the dealers up on demo days, I ride everything I can get my dirty paws on. I honestly wasn't impressed with the M8; but it may have been the demo mules the dealer had, but they felt so 'metric', I guess that's the right word.

I have hopes the M8 is the next 'Evolution' engine; throw that sucker in a Dyna and we'll know for sure
