I can't speak for the Corbin, but the Mustang Vintage Solo did move me forward a couple of inches over the stock Fatboy seat.

However, I got used to it rather quickly and my lower back actually prefers this position.

I have the Mustang vintage solo with 10" passanger pad on my deuce. The solo seat does move you up a little but that much to make a difference. I an 6'2" and it was not a problem. Here is a pic

I have the Corbin Classic with the removable pillion and I love it. I have owned several Corbins over the years and have always been very happy. I like the look without the pillion on if I don't have a need for a passenger.
