I just got home, nice quick trip, one night at the Hilton for $110 (discounted because it wasn't sold out and it was the night before Bike Week starts). Had a great time, we did Main Street, bought T shirts, rode around, over to Iron Horse, dinner there (surprisingly good food for a bar), rode back to the Hilton, a few drinks at their bar.
This morning rode to Destination, walked around and then I rode home alone which was just over 3 hours. I have to say each year it feels like there are fewer vendors at Destination. Also a lot of stores on Main St were still for rent. I didn't make it over to Speedway this year.
Weather was perfect, T shirt weather both days, hoodie for night riding.

that's me on an empty Main Street
My Fat Boy last night at Iron Horse

There were quite a few bikes showing up a week or so early this year. But now that Bike Week has arrived, the traffic on Main St, Beach St & the Speedway seem less than past years. Usually gets really going by mid-week, so there's time to improve.

That's where the locals go during Bike Week to tune up. $2 bottle beers even during the events. Good $5 All You Can Eat breakfast & afternoon jam session on Sundays.

Love hanging out at the Beaver and listening to some blues on Sunday afternoon. A couple years ago one of the clowns from that Moonshiners TV show appeared out of the blue.
