My 2017 Daytona Bike Week Observations.
Destination Daytona, Rossmyers, was packed most day by noon.
Same or more vendors then last year.
Lots of good info from the vendors I talked to.
Daytona Speedway
Rode demo Harley's. Get to the Harley booth, sign the waviers, pitch a bike and go. I asked for directions I was not sure where to go. The guy pointed and said follow the orange signs. He added you worry about yourself and let us worry about the bike.
Over to Indian. Sign in, sign waivers, stand in line, get a safety course, get instruction on how all the bikes operate, wait for safety riders, no wheelies, no passing, no sling-shotting, stay in line.
Oh yea, I got yelled at for passing a slow poke safety rider that was 300 years behind the guy I front of him. Oh I really did like the 111 ci Indian. Nice bike.
Main Street was as crazy as ever. I spent four days (not nights) and did not see it all.
You guys who bitch about Bike Week are gay or you have sand in you V.
I rode down from St. Augustine, enjoyed the ride, froze once or twice, never got stuck in traffic, rode home on A1A Saturday, had a blast.

Really? People are gay or have vaginas in your opinion if they don't like crowds?
We have a lot of tourists in my area in summer. Invariably the biggest ******** and worst drivers are from New Jersey. Go figure.

Glad I'm from across the river.
Also, it's amazing how much better it is to test ride the Harleys. I lost count of the number of rides I took. The other manufacturers can't compete. Going 45 mph in a 45 mph zone isn't going to help sell there bikes.
