I really dig my Z 550, but I'm a gadget gnerd. It'll be even better once I get it wired into a FLHX.

I have the Zumo 450 and love it, but in hindsight I should have gone with the Zumo 550 because the 450 only comes with a motorcycle mount and hard wired power cord. If you don't plan on using it in your truck/automobile this wouldn't be a problem. I wanted to use it in my truck too so I ended up buying the windshield mount for my truck and added a cigarette lighter plug to the power cord. Both are great units but only the 550 comes with an automotive mount and cigarette lighter power plug along with the motorcycle mount . For a good price look at www.gpscity.com

I have the zumo...I like it and it is great because you can move it from your bike to the truck. On the bike, you it will tell you where the nearest gas station is by touching the gas station pump on the screen. I wired it into my AUX switch and through my radio speakers.

I have the 550, love this thing! I like that it talks to you, including the names of the streets to turn on, I like the mp3 capability. Wired mine to the back of the cig lighter on the EGC..............both bike and car mounts............works great with the bluetooth..........haven't tried the xm (for traffic probs, avoidance, detours etc) but probably will this summer. I'd go with the 550, but if you don't need the extra bells and whistles, the 450 is less expensive.

I have a zumo 450 and love it. Glad I paid extra... this thing was made for biking. $485 delivered from buydig.com.
Check it out in the touring forum under the thread "GARMIN ZUMO 450 PICTURES" or in my personal folder.
