Good finish on the old year and a GR8 start on the new year.
The final tally on last years rides was 42,475 miles. Since today was sunny and in the mid 30's I took the 17 RG out. Did a 167 mile loop from my house down to Peoria and back. Spotted one other bike out. We waved. After all it was another H-D.
Don't know what this year will bring. My plan is to continue with doing many east/west and north/south roads in states. Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas are the targets.
However, I have encountered the typical problems from aging through the past year more than any other previous year. I consider them badges of honor and we will see what impact the coming year will bring. More joint pains and some loss of strength. Picking up a bagger seems out of the question now. I did that a couple years back but I'm sure that I can't now.

Cyclobenzaprine are the keys to getting things under control. Once under control, then get a membership to a place like Massage Envy. When you get a good therapist there, stick with her.
I damn near gave up riding a few years ago. The two medications changed that. The Massage Envy got me off the medication.
I go for a two hour session every three to four weeks and my therapist keeps a chart on me. It is the difference between riding and living out the remainder of my days at a nursing home.
