To wash? Hmmm, I've heard of using a microfiber towel wrung out in a mixture of 1oz of white vinegar in a pail of clean water to wipe down your vehicle to eliminate spotting, but never with soap and vinegar.
All my micro fibers and car washing towels go in a pile in the corner of the garage. Then the wife washes them. How she does it, I don't know. Maybe I just need to throw them all away and start over.
I spend a lot of time detailing my cars and bike. All micro-fiber towels are not created equal.I too have had many (not just cheap ones) leave little fibers on everything.Try the Rag Store. The ones I use are high-end borderless. They really do a nice job and will not scratch your paint. They will make you happy.
Don't use fabric softener or dryer sheets and wash them alone wouldn't hurt to set the machine to double rinse
This, fabric softener breaks down fibers. After I quit using fabric softener, and everything had been washed a couple times w/o it, I started seeing very little lint in the dryer lint filter and clothes last longer.
