RE: Harley sounds like an 07?
I got a 2005 Road King with V&H Ovals which sounds great. I have a 2007 Heritage with stock pipes that also sounds great. Before I got the Heritage I was 100% sure I would change the pipes ASAP - now I quite like the fact that I can ride it all day without my hearing eventually getting a bit harrassed by the pipes. Loaud pipes are great for an hour or so and sure sound fantastic BUT when it comes to all day riding, I think I prefer the more muted "2007 sound"

Are the stock '07's quieter than the stock '06's and earlier???
All of the stock bikes I've heard, be them harley, honda, whatever were quiet. What year they were made never seemed to make a difference to me. What am I missing?

I don't think young kids get enough *** beatings these days. When I was in Junior High, no socks? *** beating. Shirt tail out? *** beating. Smart off to teachers? Double *** beating. When you got home after an *** beating at school you got another *** beating because the principal had called your parents. Kids these days just don't learn about respect.
