Many years ago when living in Pennsylvania, some friends and I had a not so brilliant idea. We decided to ride our 2 wheel bicycles across a frozen pond. It went well going straight. Then I turned ever so slightly, and the front wheel flew out from under me. It still hurts thinking about it.

It's not just yourself on 2 wheels with little traction to worry about. But, there are the other idiot drivers too. No thanks!

I was wondering if I was the only one on here that found many of those posts to be ridiculous.
They seem to be written by an intern that has never swung a leg over a motorcycle.

riding on two wheels in the snow is hardcore chit.
if i had a harley, it would not touch salt and or snow.
i would not want the harley to rust and would not want to spray some kind of oily/waxy protection all over the bike.
could see riding a harley in the snow if, i had money to throw away or i was in a really bad way and had to ride.
