I suspect it would be just as much fun if you had a sidecar on a Harley, though. Probably better, more power to keep spinning those donuts...
I wouldn't ride in any kind of traffic in snow, crap their tires throw up wouldn't be fun, and I don't relish the idea of playing hockey puck for 2 ton Suvs. But no cars, no salt... fun with a 3rd wheel.

I ride year round. Most the article is good info, except the studded tire bit. I enjoy riding in the winter as long as the roads have no ice or snow. Many times I ride in the 20's.
I have been caught riding when it started snowing 200 miles from home. We usually go to FL for Christmas at our Daughters home. We got caught in a snow storm in Birmingham all the way to Chattanooga, but we made it home. My wife was on her Street Glide.
I can see not riding 4 or 5 months a year cause the temperature is below 50.
Plan to ride to FL this year for Christmas.
