yep stay off the snow , but sometimes you just have to ride.

As for the salt and road grime , one product S100 makes that really works wonder.
Bike in that picture has been ridden in a lot of snow and still looks close to new 1996 FB

I suspect it would be just as much fun if you had a sidecar on a Harley, though. Probably better, more power to keep spinning those donuts...

I wouldn't ride in any kind of traffic in snow, crap their tires throw up wouldn't be fun, and I don't relish the idea of playing hockey puck for 2 ton Suvs. But no cars, no salt... fun with a 3rd wheel.

Ride every winter. Never a single issue with salt. H-D's are not delicate flowers.

I ride year round. Most the article is good info, except the studded tire bit. I enjoy riding in the winter as long as the roads have no ice or snow. Many times I ride in the 20's.

I have been caught riding when it started snowing 200 miles from home. We usually go to FL for Christmas at our Daughters home. We got caught in a snow storm in Birmingham all the way to Chattanooga, but we made it home. My wife was on her Street Glide.

I can see not riding 4 or 5 months a year cause the temperature is below 50.

Plan to ride to FL this year for Christmas.

My FIL talked about a guy in the 50's that would put a chain on his rear tire on a '54 FLH and ride it when snow was on the ground.
It was the guy's only way of getting around. He rode year round.

Nope. I ride year round but no snow or ice. That's why I have a 4x4 truck as well.
