Leather with pads is the best protection butbeinghere in Arizona in the summer it's just too hot. I wear Wranglers/Levis and realize that I am taking a risk at that. There are some Levi type riding pants out that have protection in them but I've never tried them out. You can find them in alot of motorcycle accessory catalogs. In the cooler months I will wear chaps.

Draggin jeans or some of the Icon ones work pretty well also. Just a few choices for you.

I ordered a pair and they run small. I wear a 32, had to get a 34. I also have a pair of Street Torque jeans with kevelar and they run true to size. Lots of options out there.

Draggin jeans are good. I use a Joe Rocket alter ego over pants, left over from my sportbike ridding days. Check out Aerostich Darien over pants, they seem very good.

Purchased a pair of HD jeans with kevlar in impact areas and wear them over my PT shorts. When I get to where ever, I remove the jeans, boots and stash intothe tour pack and step into my tennis shoes.

The HD jeans with kevlar were a good deal at 65 bucks and the fit was spot on. They seem to have a lot of airflow, I'll be wearing my Filson double tin oil finnish pants till the temps come up. That makes one hundred posts, yee haw.

I have heard that Draggin Jeans work really well. Don't have a pair, but have thought about getting some.
