I bought some $30 steel toe boots from Walkmart about 3 years ago. While they're heavy to walk in, I do like the comfort that they give.

Bought a like new pair off ebay for $65, while they are great for riding, they just rub my feet bad for everyday use, so I just use them strictly for riding. Went back to my Doc's and those are some awesome every day all around use, just not good for riding as the strings are too long

 

Yeah have to say the HD boots I have are really comfortable. Not bad for walking around in and like them for riding. They are pretty Plain Jane which is my preference compared to some they make, with all the huge extra straps, plates and buckles. They do the job well for basic riding, love zip up sides, yeah probably not the most water proof but I don't ride in the rain if I can help it.

 

Mine are great.

 

Got a pair for Christmas a few years ago. Still look like new and are comfortable enough to walk around in all day.

I bought a pair this summer, I like mine. They are comfortable, have a great sole and they are waterproof.

 

I just buy a good pair of cowboy boots every two years or so, riding heel works best for me.
