I make sure I drain and refill my tank every 3 weeks in case I want to go for a ride. So far I haven't made it past the end of the driveway. Pulling, pushing can't seem to keep the bike on a straight line

Call me crazy, but I drain my tank by running the fuel through the injectors.
I'll have to try that gizmo Mikey ordered though, it would reduce wear and tear on my bike significantly.

It is really easy to tell the people who actually work on their bike from those who do not work on their bikes. If you actually work on your bike you want an easy way to drain the tank.

Because quoting yourself is a thing apparently.
PS - all you guys are wrong. About what, I'm not sure. Butt you are.

Not really, I just take it off and set it on the workbench.

Umm, yeah. Like a simple siphon hose, maybe? Ever heard of KISS?

While I usually don't post on threads like this, I just couldn't help it. I am ashamed to see you are from Texas, if you really are. I don't know of a single person that would need to drain their tank.....unless they just let the bike sit.....for years. If you truly ride there would be no reason to drain the tank unless you got some crappy gas. Dude you need to get out and ride if you really do own a bike. I really think you are a troll.
