8 Awesome Harley Dealerships You Need to Visit
#2
I've been to 5 of them, I'd had Smokey Mountain Harley to that list, Santa Fe is pretty slick too.

A good dealer in my mind is one who offers fair prices and outstanding service before, during and after the sale. I also prefer a dealer who didn't price-gouge back in the days of short supply.

Not one of those is in my top 8.
Wonder what their criteria was?
Mine would be:
stock - bikes, parts and misc
knowledgeable staff
Experienced techs and mechanics.
Access via back roads as well as overcrowded freeways
Attractive clean facility, does not have to be new, just kept up. Well worn and loved can almost be better than brand new.
Friendly to all brands ridden in, but loyal to Mother Harley. (I don't like places that bad mouth a Metric or Beemer that might ride with us.)
Outside of my area H-D dealers, I appreciate those that have taken care of us on the road. I mention this because at least one dealer's staff spent the entire time bullshitting with friends. Just small talk, not like these guys had just returned from 2 months on the road.
Cool Name and great graphics might get me to buy a Tee, so many lame designs and some dealers give so little thought to their own logo.
