Did gravity have something to do with it or not?

So the guy at the top of this page is not counter-steering? He's turning into a slide? Wonder why they put that pic there when they are discussing counter-steering. BTW We have the discussed video below.

Most of the argument here is simply based on the definition of counter-steer.. It seems that everyone has their own..
I know you directed this response to keith. He is not going to answer you because he can't answer it without admitting he is wrong, something he will never do.

No, I am not going to answer it because I am not interested in quibbling over semantics; and I would thank you to not speak for me.

He is not going to answer it. At least I got him to admit that.

And he is not going to admit that he is wrong.

Here is a link to the post where he said it was not counter-steering

The Op should try that, with a bigger tree.

Perhaps our differences are semantical? It does take pressure to turn/hold the handlebar/front wheel left of straight to counteract the centrifugal force, attempting to push a scooter left, during a right turn. And the opposite for a left turn. A front wheel actually turning, not momentarily but for the duration of a curve, in the opposite direction of the curve is what some of us consider 'counter-steering'. Steer left while turning right, steer right while going left.

See the 'counter' there?

Seriously Mike, go for a ride a try it out for yourself. Don't just rely on books, or posts you agree with, but actually live/experience things.

Not happening...He'd need an actual bike to do that...
