For clarification, in my last riding course, the instructor said that's a misconception. The bike actually raises, (suspension extended) when throttle is applied. More lean angle clearance is gained by more throttle. The squating feeling comes from the feeling of actually being pushed rewards in your seat, thus most think the bike is dropping in the rear. Just as explained to me, sounded likely

You do not know what has gone on in this thread. Only I and a few others because only I and a few others have paid attention to everything that has been said.
I'm pretty sure just about everyone knows exactly what's going on here. And, I'm pretty sure just about everyone, including IdahoHacker, knows exactly what they're talking about. Just about....

Sure. If you were so concerned about feelings, you wouldn't have posted it in the first place. YOU were the one that said it, not me. Sometimes it pays to look before you leap. Nothing I posted here was with the goal of hurting anyone's feelings. For the record, and though I've said it before, I hold IdahoHacker in high regard.

If you wish to ask a serious question, address all the variables.
As stated before there are many experienced riders here who are willing to help, however once you discount information, you will no longer get it.

Moderate smooth increase in throttle will decrease the lean angle and help bring you smoothly out of a corner, while violent acceleration will cause loss of traction, cause the rear end to come around, and if not immediately corrected increase the lean angle to the the point you are parallel with the pavement.

Ride more, and ask fewer question.

There are also Forum rules related to double posting.
What are the forum rules for all of the nonsense posts? Those are the troll posts. I ignore 95% of them, some of them came from you.

You're referring to another dimension I did not address

has nothing to do with cornering - everything to do with throttling..., weight shift..., and rotational force

I edit my posts A LOT right after I publish it. That is why you did not get the quote right in your first response to me. You should know that. I reserve the right to change my mind. You had no right to republish it. Only an *** would do that.

Ok, probably best to save this for another discussion.

I've never heard of counter steering or go where you look until a yr ago, but I have managed to go around corners without fail not knowing the terms or what I was actually doing, pushing left to go left. That's one of those things I had to actually go out and pay attention to what I was doing as far as steering input. Kinda blew my mind when I realized it seemed backwards. If I want to go left, I just did. Never considered the actions required to go left.
Again, you seem to be either a troll or very knowlegable and this is your way of invoking discussion. I'm leaning towards the latter.
I just read this. You get it!

Something you need to know, if I get one of those nonsensical posts from someone, I don't read it and I usually don't read anything else that person posts. I just want you to know because you are not on that list.

You do get what is going on here!

Actually, I quoted the entire post you referenced above. Check it out.

No need to get butthurt because you got caught deleting/editing something you unwisely posted and later thought better of. You're the responsible party, not me, not anyone else. You. I put it there so everyone could see you for who you are. You might as well own it.

My butt is not hurt. I am just going to have to work a little harder that is all. Because Idaho will respond and I will respond to him and quite frankly I have no idea where it will go.

But you are still an *** for doing what you did. That is something only a jerk would do.
