So I've had my 2017 CVO Limited for about three weeks now and finally have about all of my add ons done. So the last two half days Ive been adding my Custom Dynamics LED accent lights. Like this job in trying to hide and make the wiring as neat as possible. Even removing the gas tank to run wires in the backbone tray and feeling the horn and AC light wires up there also.


So I finish up today and decide to go out for a quick hour ride. I back the bike off the patio and hit the starter and wirrrrr she goes but not fire. Try it again with the same results. So I start with the easy stuff and pull the left side cover and check each fuse and all check out. So I sit there on my bucket letting all my work pass though my mind to what I could have possibly done to create this problem. My eyes leave the fuses, gaze over to the left a bit and see the fuel line. Yep, still disconnected from having the tank off. Snapped it back on, quick touch of the starter and off I went. Happy ending

 

So much for getting good gas mileage. Glad you found it before you took it all apart unnecessarily

 

Prime example of why you shouldn't put foo foo led lights all over your bike.

 

That quick disconnect is such a great feature on these modern bikes. I LOVED it when I did my Rockout Inserts. But yeah...... it's real easy to forget! Been there, done that, Shame on me........ LOL

That reminds me. Gotta hide the Christmas lights before the OL makes me decorate the house this year.
