Was raining when did mine, said as long as no lightning we keep going. Didnt mind at all only thing it made a difference on was the heavy braking. Had some good instructors, one had a hook and could ride better than a lot of people I've seen. Thought everything was easy so not sure why people worry about it.

Correct, but you have to tone down your ability to make the turns in the smallest possible space so you don't intimidate new riders. Training with a couple of police motor unit guys I heard several novice riders basically give up on the box, they used a rider at the top of his skills game as their measuring stick.

I personally had fun trying to one up the motor unit guys, but I'm not afraid of a few scratches from a low speed low side either.

I know that for sure. I have a motor officer that teaches for me and I always have to remind him. We're not trying to make officers here this is a BRC.

I took the Harley Davidson New Rider Course. Its four days long. Great class, great instructors. Only bad thing about it was July in Southern Louisiana.
