Default HD and patriotism

Ever since I was a kid I wanted a HD. It was American! I have always admired the biker clubs that escort American servicemen funerals and memorial rides. Recently I watched the series "Harley and the Davidisons" and teared up with pride when they were presented HD with a flag from Army serviceman from WWI.

No real point here.....just proud to be a HD owner.

I always liked how they sounded but hate the "dressers" of the 50s. I know my dad used to go by Conley's in downtown Dallas and drive by there slowly, looking at them but we were far too poor to even think about getting one.

As an American, retired US Military, Harley Davidson owner, PGR Ride Captain, I invite you to find a local PGR mission to attend.

You will be humbled and unless you're tougher than most, tearful...

I second that you should at least consider the PGRs. I don't do many missions, because it's definitely not my crowd of folks. But, I've done a few.

I'm Impressed with the turn out that California did for this Service member! If that video doesn't make your eyes water then your not human. I'm sure his family was in AWW over the turn out.

That was for a young marine KIA. Flew in to Mc Clellan (Sacramento) and we escorted him to El Dorado Hills, his hometown. No way to describe how it feels to be a part of that. Here is part of the service..
