Seen various comments like 20k and 20 min dont make a biker etc....just curious what most people consider a REAL biker and for that matter a REAL biker babe (dont want to leave the ladies out)

 

I play golf, but I don't consider myself a golfer because even though I enjoy it I'm not dedicated to it.

I would say the same of a real biker. Just because youride on two wheels doesn't make you a biker.

 

Being a "Biker" is a way of life not a "life-style."

 

Ask a thousand people and you'll get a thousand differentanswers.
It's like asking someone "What should a beautiful woman look like?"

I don't even bother trying to define it.
I've got better things to think about.

 

I'd guess a "real biker" is someone that wouldn't be caught dead in a Harley chatroom talking about "real bikers". [8D]

 

Things have changed in the last 20 yrs. A lot more people ride bikes now, and its not just hard core bikes anymore, if fact there the minority. If you have a bike, ride it have fun. Who cares if you consider yourself a "real" biker or not. Everyone here knows why they bought there own bike. I did because I love to ride....am I a Biker...( dont care ) do I fit the bill (yes) do I care ( No)

 

I'd say first and foremost, you need a bike. Then, you need to ride your bike. Anything after that is just gratuitous IMO. I remember a few guys talking about how they were hassled for nothing more than simply riding a bike. Seems like a lot of that going on now, but it is coming from other bikers instead of the general public. Oh well, I heard some bikers in line at a resturant the other day talking about their cholesterol, and eating a lot of salads instead of burgers. I wonder where they fall on the scale of biker.

i just can't see some big bellied, knuckle draggin, colors wearin' angel, bandido, mongrel, whatever, cat sitting at a screen and doin the hunt and peck on the keys. of course, theyall have their own websites now so maybe..........crap,knew i shouldn't have entered this thread.
do you thing real bikers/bike clubs hire out webmasters or do they growtheir own? wonder what the pay is if hired out. and how about job security; think i'll check monster.com, see if any are hiring.
