One of the several Attorney's that set up at rallies has a service that you provide info for someone to call if they need assistance. About 7 years ago I signed up that I would recover a bike within a 100 mile radius of my home which includes I-74 and I-80 in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Never got a call. My enclosed trailer is set up with a winch and a small crane to lift a wrecked bike up and swing into the trailer. I like to be self sufficient and recover my own stuff. Never had a call.

Recently changed phone numbers and for the life of me I can't remember who had the service.

I always try to stop or get a hand signal that all is good.
I think you need to move to a friendlier state!

I signed up for one of those. Actualy forgot I had it. Mine is from Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorney; it's called "BAM" for Breakdown And Legal Assistance for Motorcycle Riders. 1-800-4-BIKERS. I have yet to use it or receive a call either. It's a nice idea though.

I carry tools and some parts, (I go back to the days when that was the only way you got somewhere) and I always stop, or slow down and check. Folks these days usually have someone on the cell.

Actually, I saw you and I did stop. But I had forgotten that I had made myself invisible, and when I walked up, I declined to speak, since we both know that the first to speak loses. So there you have it, no harm done.

I always stop, taught my sons to always stop. Can't believe no one else does! What the hell is the world coming to?!

I think you are correct...the times I stopped to assist they had already called ahead for help so I offered a bottle of water. That was appreciated.
