Default Radio Headsets & Mics

Evening...

My wife is now riding full-time and now we need a way to communicate with each other (I kinda feel like I should be riding a Honda).

I am planning on pairing up some of those Motorola type family radion with headsets.

Anyone know of a good microphone/headset to be used on 1/2 helmets? All I can find is stuff for full-face and 3/4 helmets.

Thanks in advance,

Jason

considering the wind buffering, I would assume throat mics might be better but i don't have experience with them. Just throwing something out there though.

Thanks. I used a throat mike when working with the Ruskies back in Bosnia and Kosovo...they worked great even when working in/around the clunkly, loud, smelly Russian APCs.

I liked the idea of the throat mike for my wife and I, but I am just not sure if I want to shell out $180 and not have them work like I remember.

Thanks!

Jason
