RE: Utah,, WOW!
I'm leaving for Colorado on Friday. Next year over Memorial Day week, I want toride Utah. What routes would you guys suggest? I'm thinking of donating at least 3-4 full days of riding the state before heading back to NM.

Hwy 12 was fantanstic. We rode that from Torrey to Bryce Canyon. Elevation up to 9800 ft. great scenery. 191 from Moab to Blanding to 95 south/west to Torrey through Capitol Reef was probably the best 200 miles I have ever been on. Wide open road with giant sweeping curves that allow you to roll as fast as you can stand it.
It was almost orgasmic.

Well, I live in southern Utah, having moved here from California to retire. Awesome place. I have yet to see it all, but around Zion NP, Cedar Breaks, Brian Head, out to Kanab just great scenary. Close by St George, there is Old Hwy 91 over Utah hill into Mesquite,NV, SR 18 up to Enterprise, then Hwy 56 over to Cedar City. And don't miss SR 14 from Cedar City to US 89 via Duck Creek and Navajo Lake. Summit is at 9910' and the view from up there is awesome. You can see for a hundred miles to the south and east. Kolob Reservoir on the north end of Zion NP is a great day ride, with resident condors circling overhead. 8000' at the reservoir. Next on the list is overnighters to the east, Moab, Green River. We are also 150 miles from the north rim of the Grand Canyon (May to October).
Zion Harley Davidson is here to keep you up to date, and at the crossroads of all the great riding; I-15 at SR 9.
