What's the best bang for the buck for cameras to record the ride? What's everyone using?

Using a Gopro Hero 3+. Sure there are cheaper options out there but I choose the Gopro. Love it and haven't had an issue yet.

I got a Mobius wide action Das Cam 1080p stuck to Windshield, it loops, good about using on long trips. It don't have a screen just point it, works fine.
Spy Tec sells them on Amazon, good costumer. It's not water proof.

I have a Hero3+, it's OK. I started with the chest mount, now I use a helmet mount. Looks pretty freakish, but it records anywhere I look. There's an app for Android phones which can be used to control it, but I only used it a couple times.

The battery will record for about 90min, give or take, so you might want 2 or more batteries depending on usage. A 32GB card will record about 2 hrs if I remember correctly.
The color on the Hero3+ can be kind of bland unless it's a nice sunny day, IME. It's a nice device overall.

I got a Hero I can use the USB cable with adapter plug it into power outlet don't have to worry about batter running down.
